The multi-award winning Adelaide Convention Centre has a global reputation for excellence and is consistently ranked amongst the world’s top convention centres. The centre’s reputation is second to none with over 300,000 people passing through its doors each year.
It boasts more than 10,000 square metres of pillar-less floor space, with a catwalk height of 11 metres above floor level. The centre’s kitchens can produce 9,000 meals per sitting, sustainable at 27,000 per day. A plenary hall of 2,000 square metres divides into five separate units with a theatre seating 3,500 and 14 meeting rooms of various sizes.
Promoted as an ‘easy conference destination’, the Adelaide Convention Centre is located in the heart of the Adelaide CBD and only a ten minute drive from Adelaide Airport. It is within walking distance to more than 2600 hotel rooms, Australia’s longest shopping mall and upgraded sporting and entertainment venues. As part of the major upgrade to the Riverbank Precinct, the largest medical precinct in the southern hemisphere will also be within walking distance to the centre.
