The workshop is aimed at all students for detailed guidance on how to get published in international scholarly journals and make sure your paper is noticed.

This workshop will provide advice on best practices and other important considerations in scholarly communication.
About the Presenter
Nicolette van Dijk
Senior Publisher Nutrition
Elsevier, Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
In her role as Publisher, Nicolette manages 6 peer-reviewed international journals in the area of Nutrition. Nicolette looks after journals such as the Journal of Nutritional Biochemistry, Nutrition Research, and the open access title Journal Nutrition & Intermediary Metabolism. She is responsible for the product management of the portfolio of journals, and also for launching new journals such as EBiomedicine. Relationship management and networking are an important part of her role in order to be able to appoint the leading scientists worldwide as Editors for the journals and attract the best authors. Nicolette has worked for Elsevier for 15 years in various roles and has a Masters degree in Medical Biology from Utrecht University, the Netherlands.
